Loop Line Lyrical
Exiting the Loop Line
in Kyobashi, I'm held
by the smell of lavender and wax.
My heart scans the platform,
looking for your lips
or throat
or fingers. But,
it's all rushing
salarypeople here.
So, as to not waste
any gift from the sun,
my heart expands
the space the shape of
three loaves of bread
into a small room
decorated with the furniture
of my longing.
